3D printing is manufacturing of the future, right here and now. 3D printing takes digital files and transforms them into real objects. In this class, you'll learn the foundations of coding and computer-aided design (CAD) principles. Using BlocksCAD, you'll code 3D models in a block-based editor. As you build on the introductory concepts, including loops, variables, and modules, you will be able to build unique, personalized, three-dimensional designs. This class can also accommodate students with prior BlocksCAD experience. We will also be exploring modeling tools such as Fusion 360 and Blender.
2019 Class dates are Tuesdays 1/15, 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/26, 3/5*
