Laser engrave and embroider a unique denim tote bag - April Vacation Activity!
Learn mandala design and then transfer your hand-drawn design to the laser for etching onto a denim bag. Increase the cool look with embroidery using the etched design as a guide. 2 day workshop / 2-hour sessions

About The Event
This class is offered for Adults and Children (8+) to work together on a project but is also appropriate for makers 14 and up to work on their own. Pricing is per project and not per person. Art directed child care is available for children under 8 years old for an addition fee of $20 to be paid on site.
What we'll do
Session 1 - Tuesday April 17 2-4pm
Introduction to and demonstration of the laser cutter
Mandala drawing class
Time permitting begin the process of transferring the hand drawing into a computer design program called Inkscape
Session 2 - Wednesday April 18 2-4pm
Add other design elements to the mandala design if desired
Laser etch the design onto the bag
Add embroidery
