About The Event
Treat yourself to an evening of beautiful music at The Makery with Tom and Rafael.
Enjoy a cold glass of sparkling wine and a mingle starting at 7:30. Music starts at approximately 8:00pm. Feel free to bring your own drink of choice to enjoy during the show.
Rafael Ornstein
Rafael Ornstein studied Jazz Theory with Bill Barron at Wesleyan Umiversity, and spent a summer studying at Berklee College of Music and the Naropa Institute of Boulder, Colorado. Locally he has performed with the Hot House 5 Jazz Quintet and with the Miguel Almestica in Carilan Jazz. Currently he plays with Blue Dog Jazz, frequently heard at the 3 Squares Restaurant in Needham. He enjoys playing piano and singing in jazz, blues, latin, rock, pop and New Orleans styles. He cites Bill Evans, Herbie Hancock, Eddie Palmieri, Dr. John and Ray Charles among his influences. Rafael and Tom recently performed togethe…
