About The Event
2 sessions : January 25 & February 1, 2020 : 10am-1:00pm
Learn the ancient art of Shibori Dyeing in this 2 part class.
In the first class you will be learning 4 different shibori dye techniques; Arashi, Itajime, Kumo, and Nui.
In the second class, the fabrics you created will be sewn into a beautiful pillow covering.
No previous sewing experience required.
What we will do
- Learn 4 different shibori techniques Arashi, Itajime, Kumo, and Nui.
- Dye cotton fabrics in blue dye
- Learn sewing machine basics
- Assemble pillow covering
