4 weekly sessions

Cultivate your inner artist and learn the basics of acrylic painting in this introductory course. In this four week class you will learn to create a painting from start to finish. Together we will build and stretch a canvas in our woodshop, then learn techniques of composition, underpainting, color mixing, and application. Join us and realize your artistic potential!

* Please note a $25 materials fee cover the materials for canvas, stretcher bars, and hardware. The Makery will provide basic acrylic paints, however you will need to purchase your own brushes and any specialized paints you would like. Instructor will explain any additional items needed to be purchased at first class.

This class meet for 4 sessions, 9/23, 10/7, 10/21 and 10/28. There is no class on 9/30 and 10/14.
