Your child will gain confidence and fundamental DIY skills in this 6-week class where they will design, construct and finish 5-6 projects* using materials such as wood, string, metal, and paint. In a supervised environment, the kids will learn to use computer software, digital cameras, hand tools, and more. Students will also be introduced to designing and making with the laser cutter and 3D printer.

* Examples of projects include decorative coasters, a professionally finished friendship bracelet (along with a re-useable wooden loom), a customized wooden birdhouse, their own artwork turned into a piece of jewelry, digital imagery transferred onto a wooden block and a personalized bag tag or piece of wall art.
