Student Code of Conduct - PLEASE READ WITH STUDENT

These guidelines were put in place in order to safely experience all that our space has to offer.

General Space:

  • No open-toed shoes.

  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy.

  • Stay in the same space as your instructor unless directed to do otherwise.

  • Do not touch anything you have not been instructed to touch.

  • No food or open drinks in the workshop. You may have a water bottle in the workshop, but it must have a lid that closes.

  • Keep a calm body, and keep your body to yourself.

  • You are expected to arrive on time, and leave on time.

Clean-up:

  • If you use a brush or paint or paint palette, immediately wash when finished

  • Cover paint and glue after use.

  • Put lids on boxes and return them to the shelves where you found them.

  • You will be given time for clean up each day, please make sure your work area is neat and orderly.

  • If you aren’t sure where something goes, just ask!

Behavior Policy:

  • Keep a calm body. This means no rough housing, no pushing, and keeping hands to yourself.

  • Rolling desk chairs are a privilege, not a right. If you are spinning around and being distracted, you will be asked to move to a regular seat.

  • We are in a space with a lot of both dangerous and expensive equipment. If you are displaying behavior that could put yourself or others at risk, we reserve the right to contact a parent or guardian to come pick you up.

  • Continued Disruptive behavior that is making it difficult for instructors to teach or for other students to learn will not be tolerated. Multiple offenses may result in removal from the program without a refund.
