We are working on how we can put our digital fabrication equipment and design resources to use in supporting the local and global effort to increase the supply of protective equipment for medical workers and first responders.
There are many layers of protective gear needed to reduce the risk of becoming infected with COVID-19. We are ramping up to work on these items including, face shields, N95 masks, and ventilator valves. Stay up-to-date on our progress. Visit our blog here.
We are in touch with personnel at major hospitals in Boston who have requested help. There are also a number of maker groups forming to address these needs in a collaborative effort. We are making connections with the local and global maker community in order to best understand how to contribute to this collaborative effort.
