Andy Goldsworthy: Natural Sculptures
Andy Goldsworthy is a British sculptor, photographer, and environmentalist who produces natural sculptures and land art in natural and urban settings. He lives and works in Scotland. He uses natural materials and documents both the building and the decay process. Goldsworthy sculptures are often intricate and require precision and patience to build. Goldsworthy crafts his installations out of rocks, ice, leaves, or branches, twigs, stones, mud, aware that the passage of time will change the sculptures.
