Collaboration with Brookline Library

FREE KIDS BOARD GAME CLASS

hosted by the Brookline Public Library

SATURDAY, APRIL 4, 2020

2:00 PM - 3:30 PM - ONLINE

We know kids are looking for things to keep themselves busy these days. Well, we have a perfect solution to keep kids engaged and creative. On Saturday we will be collaborating with the Brookline Public Library's ideaSPACE to offer a free community online class about board game ideation.

Participants will begin by learning how to create their own zine-style 8-page notebook out of a single piece of 8.5"x11" paper. The participants will then be guided by Makery instructor, Rebecca Loechler through the ideation and planning of their very own board game. They will learn how to develop their game using themes, mechanics, tokens, cards, and more!

And once they have made their plan, they can learn how to bring their game to life in The Makery's online Board Game Design class starting April 14th.

We hope to (virtually) see you this weekend!
