Face shields are used in addition to other items including N95 masks and protective outerwear to reduce exposure to the virus. A design was created by the 3D printer company, PRUSA. We have begun producing components for this design.
Here are the specifications and a photo of a finished product from PRUSA.
We have begun production of the plastic pieces for the top and bottom of the shield. We are in the process of sourcing the plastic shield itself as well as the elastic band that holds the shield on the head.
